Survey Builder & Data Collector

This project focused on the complete lifecycle of surveys — from admin setup to end-user experience — within a complex enterprise feedback platform.
Digital Craft worked across both ends of the experience:
Survey Builder (Admin interface): where teams configure surveys, audiences, and delivery settings
Data Collector (Respondent interface): the environment where employees complete surveys across devices
The goal was to bring clarity, consistency, and usability across both tools — ensuring that what’s built is easy to configure and feels seamless for end users.

Redesigning both the builder and the collector presented unique UX and technical challenges:
Builder (Admin-side):
Legacy UI was complex, dense, and lacked hierarchy
Logic-heavy configurations were difficult to manage across steps
No real preview of the final experience for admins
Collector (Respondent-side):
The experience felt outdated and visually inconsistent
Needed to support diverse logic and question types while staying intuitive
High usage volumes required frictionless performance and accessibility
results.
Digital Craft approached the project holistically, aligning both tools through a shared design language and user-centered principles:
Restructured the Event Builder flow to support clarity, progressive disclosure, and confidence
Designed modular components that scale across use cases and product surfaces
Built a responsive and accessible Data Collector with consistent UI patterns
Ensured tight alignment between admin inputs and the respondent experience
By designing both layers in parallel, the solution simplified backend complexity while delivering a smoother, trustworthy frontend experience.
